The MacBook Pro 16 with m1 max and 64gb and 1TB should make world of Warcraft and geforcenow work to perfection, at double the price of the air m2 fully spec’d (with college discount as my daughter is in college). I know even the base MacBook Air m2 is enough, but I hate buyer’s remorse, I just hate it! An iPad would have been great, but geforcenow doesn’t have an app for iPad and many games won’t work via the safari browser. The rest of the stuff id use the Mac for can easily be done even on my 13PM (that’s how insane my situation is). I eventually sold them after less than a month on average, as for some reason I just hate HATE windows, too many options that makes my head spin.īesides, I use an iPhone 13 pro max, an Apple TV, and would really like a Mac for the Apple ecosystem, but alas, I do enjoy these three games, World of Warcraft or Final Fantasy online (I usually just pick one mmorpg, paying two at the same time is a headache), and geforcenow. And windows computers are just too complicated for this 40 year old guy, I am just too stupid for it, I’ve bought in the past a very expensive Alienware, twice, which cost me over 6000 usd (I just have this bad habit of fully specing everything I buy). I’d love to learn how if I do have the time in the future. I don’t do any professional editing work, I don’t do edits (period). I haven’t been sleeping well going to and fro, my mind keeps spinning. Patrick, I am still in misery as I am still so confused what to get.

All that controversy about the M2 Macbook Air throttling, overheating, etc, etc, we forget an important question: who is the base model M2 Macbook Air for?
